Built in 1830, the Island Reef is a classic, Federal-style whaling captain's home. Ideally located on historic, cobblestoned North Water Street, and the first house on that street to escape the Great Fire of 1846, the inn is just a short walk from Main Street, beaches, and Steamboat Wharf.
